RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF GRANT OF
EASEMENT TO PACIFIC GAS AND ELECTRIC COMPANY
AND PACIFIC BELL TO PROVIDE UNDERGROUND
UTILITY SERVICES TO 70 BLOSSOM DRIVE EXTENSION,
SAN RAFAEL, CALIFORNIA
WHEREAS, a residence is presently being constructed in
County of Marin jurisdiction at 70 Blossom Drive Extension; and
WHEREAS, Pacific Gas & Electric Company and Pacific Bell
wish to provide underground utility services to said property; and
WHEREAS, Blossom Drive Extension is a City street; and
WHEREAS, a portion of the underground utility work requires
that both utility companies install their facilities within a parcel
of land owned by the City at the end of Blossom Drive Extension.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of San Rafael that the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby author-
ized to execute the grant conveying said easement to Pacific Gas
& Electric Company and to Pacific Bell for installing and maintaining
underground utility services to 70 Blossom Drive Extension.
I, JEANNE M. LEONCINI, Clerk of the City of San Rafael,
California, hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly
and regularly introduced and adopted at a regular meeting of the
Council of said City held on the nd day of April, 1990, by the follow-
ing vote, to wit:

EASEMENT
first party, hereby grants to PACIFIC GAS AND ELECTRIC COMPANY, a California corporation,
and Pacific Bell, a California corporation
second party, the right from time to time to construct, reconstruct, install, inspect, maintain, replace,
remove, and use facilities of the type hereinafter specified, together with a right of way therefor, within
a strip or parcel of land or along a route as hereinafter set forth, and also ingress thereto and egress
therefrom, over and across the lands situate in the Ci tv of San Rafael
Marin County of
State of California, described as follows:

The parcel of land described and designated Parcel 13-202-09 in the
deed from Stanley J. Fontez, Tax collector of the County of Marin,
State of California to the City of San Rafael dated December 30, 1971
and recorded in Book 2542 of Official Records at page 182, Marin
County Records.
Said facilities shall consist of:
Such underground conduits, pipes, manholes, service boxes, wires,
cables, and electrical conductors; aboveground marker posts, risers,
and service pedestals; underground and aboveground switches, fuses,
terminals, and transformers with associated concrete pads; and fix-
tures and appurtenances necessary to any and all thereof, as second
party deems necessary located within the strip of land of the uniform
width of 10 feet, the center line of which is delineated by the heavy
dashed line shown upon the print of second party's Drawing No. M-297
attached hereto and made a part hereof.

First party shall not erect or construct any building or other structure
or drill or operate any well within said strip of land hereinbefore
described
The provisions hereof shall inure to the benefit of and bind the successors
and assigns of the respective parties hereto.
