RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL
APPROPRIATING $45,000 FROM THE DAVIDSON BEQUEST FOR THE
LIBRARY BOOK BUDGET, FISCAL YEAR 1989-90
WHEREAS, the Davidson Bequest was a gift to the San Rafael Public
Library by the late Evans Davidson in memory of his sister Della Davidson; and
WHEREAS, since receipt of the Bequest in 1982, a portion of the accrued
interest on the Bequest has been used to supplement the Library's book budget;
and
WHEREAS, the staff and the Library Board of Trustees recommend
appropriating $45,000 of interest on the Davidson Bequest to supplement the
Library's book budget for fiscal year 1989-90.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City
of San Rafael hereby appropriates $45,000 of interest on the Davidson Bequest
to supplement the Library's book budget for fiscal year 1989-90.
I, JEANNE M. LEONCINI, City Clerk of the City of San Rafael hereby
certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly introduced and
adopted at a Regular meeting of the City Council of said City held on Tuesdav
the Fifth day of September , 1989 by the following vote to wit:
