RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL
APPROPRIATING $3,500 FROM THE DAVIDSON BEQUEST FOR
CONSULTANT SERVICES TO PROVIDE ASSISTANCE TO THE CITY OF SAN
RAFAEL IN THE SELECTION OF DESIGN PROFESSIONAL SERVICES FOR
THE SAN RAFAEUMARIN RESOURCE LIBRARY
WHEREAS, the Davidson Bequest was a gift to the San Rafael Public
Library by the late Evans Davidson in memory of his sister Della Davidson; and
WHEREAS, since receipt of the Bequest in 1982, a portion of the accrued
interest on the Bequest has been used for the planning of a new San
Rafael/Marin Resource Library; and
WHEREAS, the staff and the Library Board of Trustees recommend
appropriating $3,500 of interest on the Davidson Bequest to retain the services of
consultant, Raymond Holt, to assist the City in the selection of design
professional services to design the San Rafael/Marin Resource Library.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City
of San Rafael hereby appropriates $3,500 of interest on the Davidson Bequest to
retain the services of consultant, Raymond Holt, to assist the City in the selection
of design professional services to design the San Rafael/Marin Resource Library.
I, JEANNE M. LEONCINI, City Clerk of the City of San Rafael hereby
certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly introduced and
adopted at a Regular meeting of the City Council of said City held on Mondav
the Eighteenth day of September , 1989 by the following vote to wit:
AYES: COUNCILMEMBERS : Boro, Breiner, Frugoli, Thayer and
Mayor Mulryan
