RESOLUTION NO. 8043
CITY OF SAN RAFAEL
PRESENTS THIS
TO
LANE FYE
WHEREAS, on the lst day of September, 1989, Lane Fye
voluntarily resigned as a member of the Fire Commission after
having served seven years of able, dedicated service to the
City of San Rafael; and
WHEREAS, Commissioner Fye made numerous contributions
to the Fire Department, serving as Chairperson of the Commission;
and,
WHEREAS, during his seven years of service on the Fire
Commission, Commissioner Fye assisted in providing an effective
Paramedic Program and improved the level of fire protection;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council
hereby accepts Commissioner Fye's resignation and extends him
sincere appreciation for unselfish contributions he has made
to the betterment of the community and welfare of its citizens
in need of fire or medical services.
