A RESOLUTION OF THE SAN RAFAEL CITY COUNCIL
AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF THREE (3)
PICK-UPS FOR USE BY THE PUBLIC WORKS
DEPARTMENT FROM STEVE SNYDER CHEVROLET.
WHEREAS, the San Rafael City Council authorized
replacement of vehicles based on age (10 years service) or mileage
(100,000); and
WHEREAS, specifications were drawn and bids solicited
for the following units:
1 ea. Ton Pick -Up Short Bed
1 ea. Ton Pick -Up Long Bed
1 ea. 3/4 Ton Pick -Up Long Bed with Dump; and
WHEREAS, bids have been received by the General Services
department staff.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the San Rafael
City Council that the following action be taken:
Purchase the following award of Bid:
3 Pick -Up Trucks for use by Public Works as follows:
1 ea. z Ton Pick -Up short bed for the amount of $11,708.31
1 ea. Ton Pick -Up Long Bed for the amount of $11,964.46
1 ea. 3/4 Ton Pick -Up Long Bed with Dump Body for the amount of $15,082.18
Funded from the Vehicle Replacement Fund, from Steve Snyder
Chevrolet, lowest responsible bidder.
I, JEANNE M. LEONCINI, Clerk of the City of San Rafael,
California, hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was
duly and regularly introduced and adopted at a regular meeting
of the Council of said City held on the 16th3ay of October ;
1989 by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: COUNCILMEMBERS:Boro, Breiner, Frugoli, Thayer & Mayor Mulryan
NOES: COUNCILMEMBERS:None
