A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SAN RAFAEL AUTHORIZING APPROVAL OF TRAINING
AGREEMENTS IN FAVOR OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA,
DEPARTMENT OF CALIFORNIA HIGHWAY PATROL RE: TRAINING
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL HEREBY RESOLVES AS
FOLLOWS:
WHEREAS, the City of San Rafael Police Department has,
in the past, enrolled officers in a variety of classes
sponsored by the California Highway Patrol and;
WHEREAS, a requirement of the California Highway Patrol
has been for the City Council to sign a Training Agreement
for each class and;
WHEREAS, it is proposed that a new Resolution would be
kept in file that would allow the Chief of Police to sign
each Training Agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council
authorize HENRY W. INGWERSEN, Chief of Police, to sign
Training Agreements.
I, JEANNE M. LEONCINI, Clerk of the City of San Rafael
hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and
regularly introduced and adopted at a regular meeting of the
Council of said City on the 16th day of October ,
1989 by the following vote to wit:
