CITY OF SAN RAFAEL
PRESENTS THIS
TO
LINDA DOWNEY
WHEREAS, LINDA DOWNEY has served the City of San Rafael as
Secietary and Administrative Secretary in the City
Manager's Office since 1977; and
WHEREAS, While servinq in this capacity for over twelve years
she has provided invaluable assistance to five
different City Managers, two Mayors and eleven
Counci1members; and
WHERrAS, Linda's skills in public relations served the office
well in her dealings with the public, in drafting
resolutions and proclamations and in coordinating
meetings and special events along with all of her other
duties; and
WHEREAS, Linda has chosen to seize the opportunity to follow her
long-time dream of pursuing a nursing career.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED -that the San Rafael City Council
expresses their deep appreciation and thanks to Linda
Downey for her loyalty and years of service to the City
of San Rafael and wishes her success and happiness in
her new endeavor.
