11HEREAS, Gary Frugoli-has served the City of San Rafael for all of h.Ls
working career first as a Recreation Leader, then eleven years
as a Police officer, and then eight years as a City
Councilmember; and
6,11EREAS, Gary served in all of these capacities with enthusiasm and an
abiding love for his hometown; and
WHE'tEAS, Gary, during his tenure on the Cit.v Council, also served
during the update of the San Rafael General Plan and
represented the Cit" on the Gan Rafael Sanitation District and
the 101 Corridor Action Committee; and
WITEREAS, Gary championed keeping the City Attorney an elected position,
the Major Crimes Task: Force, voter approval of any tax
increases, upgrading Police and Fire Department equipment, the
Peacock Gap Neighborhood part: and sheepgrazinq in the Terra
Linda oven space; and
