RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL
EXPANDING MEMBERSHIP OF THE CULTURAL AFFAIRS COMMISSION
WHEREAS, the Cultural Affairs Commission was created under Ordinance
1180, adopted March 17, 1975, including the number of Commissioners and the
terms of office ; and
WHEREAS, Ordinance 1315 amended Ordinance 1180, and granted the
City Council the authority to determine by resolution the number of Cultural
Affairs Commissioners; and
WHEREAS, the Cultural Affairs Commission and the staff have
recommended that the Cultural Affairs Commission be expanded from five to
seven members.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City
of San Rafael hereby .expands the membership of the Cultural Affairs
Commission from five to seven members.
I, JEANNE M. LEONCINI, City Clerk of the City of San Rafael hereby
certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly introduced and
adopted at a Regular meeting of the City Council of said City held on Mondav
the 15th day of May , 1989, by the following vote to wit:
