RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL
AUTHORIZING A $10,000. ALLOCATION TO THE
SAN RAFAEL CHILD CARE TASK FORCE TO COMPLETE
A CITYWIDE CHILD CARE NEEDS ASSESSMENT STUDY
WHEREAS, the City Council adopted the San Rafael General
Plan 2000; and
WHEREAS, the General Plan 2000 Implementation Program
LU mm states the city will "initiate a citywide assessment
of child care needs and alternatives and develop citywide
policies for child care serviced' and
WHEREAS, a San Rafael Child Care Task Force has been
established by the City and the Chamber of Commerce; and
WHEREAS, the Child Care Task Force has defined a scope
of work and budget to complete the child care study; and
WHEREAS, the study will fulfill the General Plan
Implementation Program for the city.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council
does hereby authorize a $10,000 allocation to the San Rafael
Child Care Task Force to complete a citywide Child Care Needs
Assessment Study.
I, JEANNE M. LEONCINI, Clerk of the City of San Rafael,
hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and
regularly introduced and adopted at a regular meeting of the
Council of said City on Monday , the 15th day of May
1989, by the following vote, to wit:
