Citizens Advisory Committee on Redevelopment
WHEREAS, Bill served as a member of the San Rafael
Citizens Advisory Committee on Redevelopment
from 1979 to 1989; and
WHEREAS, During that period Bill has contributed con-
siderable time and energy to the redevelopment
of San Rafael; and
WHEREAS, Bill served as a supporter of many projects,
including low cost housing, an auto center,
parking and retail development, as well as
his involvement and support of the Canal
District of San Rafael; and
WHEREAS, Bill has served as a responsible representa-
tive of the community as a member, as well
as Chairman, of the Citizens Advisory Commit-
tee; and
WHEREAS, Bill's insight, intelligence, knowledge and
commitment will be missed by all who worked
with him.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the
City of San Rafael hereby extends its appreciation to William
Brannan for his devoted service to the community as a member
of the Citizens Advisory Committee on Redevelopment.
