RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL
AUTHORIZING STAFF TO APPLY FOR GRANT FUNDING
FROM THE COWELL FOUNDATION
WHEREAS, The Cowell Foundation makes grants to arts organizations
to support cultural programs; and
WHEREAS, Falkirk Cultural Center provides the citizens of San Rafael
with a rich and varied program of cultural activities; and
WHEREAS, Cultural Affairs staff wish to apply for funds to support
cultural activities at Falkirk Cultural Center.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City
of San Rafael hereby authorizes staff to apply to the Cowell Foundation
for grant funds to support cultural activities at Falkirk Cultural Center.
I, JEANNE M. LEONCINI, City Clerk of the City of San Rafael hereby
certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly introduced
and adopted at a Reaular meeting of the City Council of said City held
on Tuesdav the 17th day of January , 1989, by the following vote to
wit:

NOES: COUNCILMEMBERS: None
