A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL
CERTIFYING A NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR
AMENDMENT OF ORDINANCE 1515 MODIFYING
DEVELOPMENT STANDARDS FOR PLANNED DEVELOPMENT (P -D) ZONING
FOR DEVELOPMENT OF THE SPINNAKER ON THE BAY
RESIDENTIAL PROJECT
Bellam and Catalina Boulevards
(AP 9-100-01, 04, 05; 9-142-13, 24, 26, 53; 9-010-17, 21)
WHEREAS, on October 19, 1988, an application for
amendment of the development standards contained within Ordinance
1515 was submitted to the City; and
WHEREAS, an Initial Environmental Study was prepared
in accordance with the State EIR Guidelines to assess potential
environmental impacts of the proposal; and
WHEREAS, on March 28, 1989, the Planning Commission
found that the proposed ordinance amendments would not create
any significant adverse impacts and recommended to the City
Council the certification of a Negative Declaration
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the San Rafael
City Council finds there is no substantial evidence in the
record showing that the project may have a significant effect
on the environment and certifies the Negative Declaration for
amendment of Ordinance 1515.
I, JEANNE M. LEONCINI, Clerk of the City of San Rafael,
hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly
introduced and adopted at a regular meeting of the Council
of said City on Mondav , the 17th day of April ,
1989', by the following vote, to wit:
