RESOLUTION NO. 7778
RESOLUTION OF APPRECIATION
JEFF BAIRD
M MXyAR, Jeff Baird began in 1985 to develop a work program
for the revision of the General Plan and process design; and
WHEREAS, in January 1986 Jeff contracted to become the
General Plan coordinator and was a principal author of the
original draft and background reports, as part of the team which
was able to accomplish this in a nine month time frame- and
WHEREAS, Jeff played a key role throughout the process in
editina and coordinatina, and was responsible for the organiza-
tion, printing and layout of the General Plan- and
WHEREAS, Jeff authored and distributed newsletters peri-
odically on the status of the General Plan- and
WHEREAS, he coordinated with Moore, Iacofano and Goldsmith
on the graphics and the density and FAR slide shows; and
WHEREAS, many of the innovative features of the Plan, such
as the Implementing Program Priorities section, are attributable
to Jeff; and
WHEREAS, Jeff maintained a wonderful positive attitude
during this high stress period, and an excellent working relation-
ship with those around him;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL of the
City of San Rafael expresses its appreciation to Jeff for an
excellent contribution to the General Plan.
