RESOLUTION NO. 7780
CITY OF SCAN RAFAEL
RESOLUTION OF APPRECIATION
ART BROOK
WHEREAS, Art Brook is a former Senior Planner
(Transportation) for the City of San Rafael; and
WHEREAS, he desioned the traffic improvement and traffic
mitigation fee program for Northgate Activity Center (one of the
first in the statei and for East San Rafael; and
WHEREAS, Art employed this model citywide for the San
Rafael General Plan- and
WHEREAS, he authored the oriainal draft of the ctr-ulntion
element of the General Plan, and was a key member of the team that
produced the draft plan in a record nine months- and
WHEREAS, after becoming Transportatio^ Engineer for the
County of Marin, he continued to provide invaluable technical
assistance and moral support to City staff -
NOW. THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL of the
City of San Rafael expresses its annreciation to Art for the
excellence of his contributions to the General Plan, both as a
City employee and continuing into his employvent with the County
of Marin.
