RESOLUTION OF APPRECIATION
GARY RAGGHIANTI
WHEREAS, Gary Ragghianti has played a key role in the
General Plan revision process, beginning with his legal analysis
of the City's position prior to the filing of the lawsuit in 1985;
and
WHEREAS, Gary was responsible for advisinq the Council and
drafting the moratorium ordinance and the follow up Resolution No.
7427, which guided the City durina the revision of the Plan: and
WHEREAS. Gary was readily available at all times to advise
the Planninq Department and Planning Commission and City Council
on issues ranoing from specific parcels to policy and conflict of
interest issues: and
WHEREAS, Gary's expertise in land use law proved invaluable
during the entire process -
VM , THEREtORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL of the
City of San Rafael hereby expresses its appreciation to Gary
Ragghianti for his outstanding contributions during this process.
