RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL
APPROPRIATING $30,000 FROM THE DAVIDSON BEQUEST FOR THE
LIBRARY BOOK BUDGET, FISCAL YEAR 1988-89
WHEREAS, the Davidson Bequest was gift to the San
Rafael Public Library by the late Evans Davidson in memory
of his sister Della Davidson; and
WHEREAS, since receipt of the Bequest in 1982, a
portion of the accrued interest on the Bequest has been used
to supplement the Library's book budget; and
WHEREAS, staff and Library Board recommend
appropriating $30,000 of interest on the Bequest to
supplement the Library's book budget for fiscal year 1987-
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED the City Council of the
City of San Rafael hereby appropriates $30,000 of interest
on the Davidson Bequest to supplement the Library's book
budget for fiscal year 1988-89.
I, JEANNE M. LEONCINI, City Clerk of the City of San
Rafael hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly
and regularly introduced and adopted at a
REGULAR meeting of the City Council of said
City held on MONDAY the FIRST day of
AUGUST , 1988 by the following vote, to wit:

NOES: COUNCILMEMBERS:None
