RESOLUTION NO. 7792
CITY OF SCAN RAFAEL
RESOLUTION OF APPRECIATION
ELEEN MORISSETTE
WHEREAS, Eleen Morissette began her service with the City
of San Rafael as a Secretary in the City Manager's
Office in 1981, and a year later was appointed as
the Secretary in the City Attorney's Office; and
WHEREAS, Due to Eleen's many prior years of legal secretarial
experience and specialized knowledge and skills
necessary to perform in that capacity, she was promoted
to Legal Secretary when the City Council reclassified
the position in 1984; and
WHEREAS, On her own time, Eleen enrolled in legal courses
in order to be more well-informed about the legal
profession; and
WHEREAS, Eleen has given seven years of invaluable secretarial
support, commitment, and assistance to three different
City Attorneys and to two different Assistant City
Attorneys;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the San Rafael City Council
expresses its appreciation for Eleen's years of
dedicated service and extends its best wishes to
her on the occasion of her retirement from the City
of San Rafael.
