RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL AUTHORIZING
EXPENDITURE FOR AERIAL PHOTOGRAPHS
OF THE LAS GALLINAS BASIN
(at cost of $3,705 from imalloca.ted reserves)
WHEREAS, the San Rafael Redevelopment Agency has accepted
a proposal from Towill, Inc. for the first phase of the Base Mapping
System for the City of San Rafael; the first phase including ground
control, aerial photography and digital topographic base maps of
the Redevelopment area and the Downtown Drainage Basin; and
WHEREAS, the Redevelopment Agency entered into a Joint
Powers Agreement with the San Rafael Sanitation District to augment
this project and to expand the scope to include additional areas
within the Sanitation District, such as the Glenwood and Peacock
Gap Drainage Basins; and
WHEREAS, the City area has been flown and photographed,
and Towill, Inc. is progressing on schedule with the development
of the Computer Aided Digital Drafting Mapping System; and
WHEREAS, the aerial photographs will only be printed
for the Downtown, Glenwood, and Peacock Gap basins, which are within
the project boundaries, although aerial photographs are available
for the Las Gallinas Basin; and
WHEREAS, the cost of the photo enlargements for these
areas will be $3,705, but cannot be paid from existing project funds.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of San Rafael, that in order to have a complete and
up to date set of aerial photographs, the sum of $3,705 be authorized
from unallocated reserves for the purchase of aerial photographs
of the Las Gallinas Basin.
I, JEANNE M. LEONCINI, Clerk of the City of San
Rafael, California, hereby certify that the foregoing resolution
was duly and regularly introduced and adopted at a regular meeting
of the Council of said City held on the 15th day of August, 1988,
by the following vote, to wit:
