HomeMy WebLinkAboutCC Resolution 7821 (Lucas Valley Open Space Assessment District)RESOLUTION NO. 7821 RESOLUTION DECLARING SURPLUS IN IMPROVEMENT FUND LUCAS VALLEY OPEN SPACE ASSESSMENT DISTRICT The City Council of the City of San Rafael resolves: On December 18, 1972, the City Council adopted its Resolution of Intention No. 4352, for public improvements in Lucas Valley Open Space Assessment District, City of San Rafael, Marin County, California. Said Resolution of Intention provided that any surplus in the improvement fund for said assessment, after completion of the improvements and payment of all claims from the improvement fund, would be applied in accordance with Section 10427 of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California. All improvements have been completed for which bonds have been issued to date, and all claims upon the Improvement Fund have been paid. A balance of $ 5.230.37 remains in the improvement fund for Lucas Valley Open Space Assessment District, and said amount is surplus. Said amount shall be set aside in a special fund to be designated "Maintenance Fund, Lucas Valley Open Space Assessment District, City of San Rafael, Marin County, California", and shall be used for the maintenance of the improvements constructed and/or acquired in said Lucas Valley Open Space Assessment District until said special fund is exhausted. ORIGINRL ,sa, I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly adopted by the City Council of the City of San Rafael, Marin County, California, at a regular meeting thereof, held on the 19th day of September , 1988, by the following vote, to wit: AYES: Councilmembers:Boro, Breiner, Frugoli, Thayer & Mayor Mulryan NOES: Councilmembers:None ABSENT: Councilmembers:None JEANNE M.
