A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SAN RAFAEL AUTHORIZING THE IMPLEMENTATION
OF THE PUBLIC WORKS MAINTENANCE CLASSIFICATION STUDY
WHEREAS, The San Rafael City Council authorized a classification
study of the Public Works Maintenance Classifications to be
conducted by Personnel Associates; and
WHEREAS, the study was completed by Personnel Associates,
and the staff has met and conferred with the employee bargaining
units representing the affected employees and reached agreement
on implementation; and
WHEREAS, a copy of the agreed upon changes is attached
hereto and made a part hereof and is designated as Exhibit "A";
and
WHEREAS, the $33,000 to implement this study has been provided
for in the budget.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the San Rafael City Council
that the Public Works Maintenance Classification Study be implemented.
I, JEANNE M. LEONCINI, Clerk of the City of San Rafael,
hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly
introduced and adopted at a regular meeting of the Council of
said City the 3rd day of October 1988, by the
following vote, to wit:
