RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN
RAFAEL AUTHORIZING STAFF TO APPLY TO THE INSTITUTE FOR
MUSEUM SERVICES FOR A GRANT TO SUPPORT FALKIRK
PROGRAMS
WHEREAS, The Institute of Museum Services makes grants to arts
organizations to support cultural programs; and
WHEREAS, Falkirk Cultural Center provides a rich and varied
program of cultural activities for the community; and
WHEREAS, Falkirk staff wish to apply to the Institute of Museum
Services for a grant to fund a multi -disciplinary cultural program entitled
"Our Town".
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the
City of San Rafael hereby authorizes staff to apply to the Institute of
Museum Services for a grant to fund a multi -disciplinary cultural program
entitled "Our Town", which will highlight the artistic, historical, and cultural
aspects of the Marin community.
I, JEANNE M. LEONCINI, City Clerk of the City of San Rafael
hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly
introduced and adopted at a Regular meeting of the City Council of said
City held on the Seventeenth day of October, 1988, by the following vote
to wit:
AYES: COUNCILMEMBERS = Boro, Frugoli, Thayer & Mayor Mulryan
NOES: COUNCILMEMBERS : None
