RESOLUTION NO. 7721
CITY OF SCAN RAFAEL
RESGUITION OE APPRECIATION
D O L L Y N A V E
WHEREAS, Dolly Nave has been involved for many years with
the San Rafael High School Boosters Club; and
WHEREAS, Dolly operated the Snack Shack with San Rafael Pop
Warner Football for fifteen years and with Terra Linda Pop Warner
football for two years, and has had many years of service as the
Albert Park Snack Bar operator for adult softball, of which she
has been an avid supporter for more than fifteen years; and
WHEREAS, Dolly coordinated the Albert Park community
project, and was responsible for donations of money and materials
totaling more than $500,000; and
WHEREAS, she is involved with the San Rafael High School
Centennial Celebration Relandscaping Project; and
WHEREAS, Dolly's untiring dedication, determination and
outstanding community service have all contributed richly_ to the
enhancement of the quality of life in San Rafael;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the
City of San Rafael hereby joins with the San Rafael Chamber of
Commerce in recognizing Dolly Nave as
SAN RAFAEL 1988 CITIZEN OF THE YEAR
and joins with her many friends and admirers in expressing ap-
preciation for her energy and gracious, untiring giving of
herself, on this eighteenth day of April, nineteen hundred and
eighty-eight.
