A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL
RECERTIFYING THE PREVIOUSLY ADOPTED
ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT REPORT AND
EXTENDING THE PLANNED DEVELOPMENT (P -D) ZONING
OF ASSESSORS PARCEL 13-271-29
CONSISTING OF 8.0 ACRES OF LAND
LOCATED ON IRWIN STREET WEST OF BRET HARTE VILLAGE
WHEREAS, on January 16, 1984, the City Council certified
an Environmental Impact Report and rezoned the above -referenced
property from R -1-B-1 and R -1-B-2 to Planned Development (P -D)
zoning; and
WHEREAS, the applicants filed in a timely manner
for an extension of the zoning approval; and
WHEREAS, on February 23, 1988, the Planning Commission
voted unanimously to recommend a time extension of the Planned
Development zoning and determined that the previously adopted
Environmental Impact Report fulfilled the requirements of the
California Environmental Quality Act for the purposes of the
time extension; and
WHEREAS, on April 4, 1988, the Council heard public
testimony regarding the item and continued the public hearing
to the April 18 meeting; and
WHEREAS, on April 18, the Council heard further testimony,
closed the public hearing, and voted to extend the Planned
Development zoning district.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the San Rafael
City Council does hereby recertify the previously adopted Environmental
Impact Report and grant a time extension of the Planned Development
zoning district concurrent with expiration of the approved
tentative subdivision map for the site (July 26, 1989).

hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly
introduced and adopted at a regular meeting of the Council
of said City on MONDAY , the 2nd day of MAY ,
