A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SAN RAFAEL, AUTHORIZING THE
PURCHASE OF ONE LOT OF TRAFFIC CONTROL
EQUIPMENT, PHASE I OF PROJECT
WHEREAS, the San Rafael City Council authorized replacement
of traffic control equipment under the Downtown Traffic Control
Upgrading budgeted for fiscal year 1987-88, funded from gas tax
fund; and
WHEREAS, specifications were drawn and bids solicited for
one lot of traffic control equipment; and
WHEREAS, bids have been received by the General Services
department staff.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the San Rafael City
Council that the following action be taken:
Purchase the following award of bid:
One lot of traffic control equipment per our specifications
No. 04-88 from Econolite Control Products, Inc.,
Burlingame, California, for the amount of $75,769.86.
I, JEANNE M. LEONCINI, Clerk of the City of San Rafael,
hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and
regularly introduced and adopted at a regular meeting of the
Council of said City, on the Sixth day of June , 1988, by the
following vote, to wit:
AYES: COUNCILMEMBERS: Boro, Breiner, Frugoli, Thayer & Mayor Mulryan
NOES: COUNCILMEMBERS: None
ABSENT: COUNCILMEMBERS: None
