RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO VACATE DRAINAGE
EASEMENT IN EAST SAN RAFAEL, PART OF KERNER
BOULEVARD ASSESSMENT DISTRICT, AP# 9-290-16
(HELIPORT SITE)
WHEREAS, it appears that the easement hereinafter described
is unnecessary for present or prospective public use;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS:
1. That the City Council of the City of San Rafael, Cali-
fornia, hereby elects to proceed under the PUBLIC SERVICE EASEMENTS
VACATION LAW of the State of California;
2. That the City Council of the City of San Rafael, Cali-
fornia, hereby declares its intention to close, vacate and abandon
the easement hereinafter described;
3. That the 15th day of August, 1988, at 8:00 o'clock
P.M., in the Council Chambers at the City Hall in the City of San
Rafael, California, is hereby set as the time and place for hearing
all persons interested in the proposed closing, abandoning and vaca-
tion of said easement (s);
4. That the Department of Public Works of the City of
San Rafael shall post conspicuously notices of easement vacation
along the line of the said easement proposed to be closed, abandoned
and vacated, which notices shall be posted not more than three hundred
feet apart, but at least three notices shall be posted as to each
such easement proposed to be closed, abandoned and vacated. The
said notice shall state the time and place of the hearing, as herein-
above provided, and the adoption of the within resolution of inten-
tion.
5. That said easement proposed to be closed, abandoned
and vacated is described on Exhibit "A", which is attached hereto
and incorporated herein by reference;
6. That a map or plan showing said easement proposed
to be closed, abandoned and vacated, is on file in the office of
the City Clerk of the City of San Rafael at the City Hall, San Rafael,
California.

California, hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly
and regularly introduced and adopted at a regular meeting of the
Council of said City held on the 18th day of July, 1988, by the
following vote, to wit:

AN EASEMENT for drainage purposes located in the City of San
Rafael, County of Marin, State of California described as
follows:
BEGINNING at the most Northerly corner of the parcel described iri
the Deed from Michael J. Scotto, et ux,'to Robert W. Parnow, et
al, recorded August 4, 1958 in Book 1207 of Official Records at
page 211-B, Marin County Records; running thence along the
Northeasterly line of said parcel South 51' 14' 00" East 100.00
feet to the Easterly corner thereof; running thence along the
Southeasterly line of said parcel South 380 46' 00" West 15.00
feet; -thence leaving said Southeasterly line and running North 51C
14' 00" West 100.00 feet to the Northwesterly line of said
parcel; running thence along said Northwesterly line North 38"
46' 00" East 15.00 feet to the point of the beginning.
