RESOLUTION OF THE SAN RAFAEL CITY COUNCIL
CERTIFYING A FINAL EIR
FOR CREST MARIN II
WHEREAS, an Initial Study prepared for the Crest Marin II project
identified potential significant cumulative traffic impacts; and
WHEREAS, a Focused EIR was then duly prepared analyzing said potential
significant cumulative traffic impacts was available for public review starting
June 9, 1988, and was reviewed by the Planning Commission on June 28, 1988;
and
WHEREAS, during the 30 day public review period for the draft Focused
EIR and at the Planning Commission meeting no comments were received concerning
the EIR; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission recommended to the City Council
certification of the EIR on July 12, 1988.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the San Rafael City Council
finds that the Focused EIR for the Crest Marin II project was prepared pursuant
to all requirements of the California Environmental Quality Act and the California
Quality Act Guidelines and that said Focused EIR was presented to the San
Rafael Planning Commission on June 28, 1988, and was reviewed and considered
by the Planning Commission and has been presented to and reviewed and considered
by the San Rafael City Council on July 18, 1988, in the course of its deliberations
on the merits of the Crest Marin II project.
I, JEANNE M. LEONCINI, Clerk of the City of San Rafael, hereby
certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly introduced and
adopted at a regular meeting of the Council of said City on Monday
the 18th day of July , 1988, by the following
vote, to wit:
AYES: COUNCILMEMBERS: Boro, Breiner, Frugoli, Thayer & Mayor Mulryan
NOES: COUNCILMEMBERS : None
ABSENT: COUNCILMEMBERS : None
