TO
JOHN DORICH
WHEREAS, in February 1966 the City of San Rafael hired John Dorich as a
Planning Draftsman; and
WHEREAS, in recognition of his proficient service, John Dorich was promoted to
Senior Draftsman in 1977; and
WHEREAS, John Dorich's personnel records are full of commendations from other
City departments, public agencies and citizens regarding his special
graphic assignments benefiting so many diverse activities in the City
of San Rafael; and
WHE-REAS, John Dorich has been an integral contributor to virtually all major
planning projects and staff reports produced by the San Rafael Planning
Department for over 20 years, including particular achievement in work
for the 1974 General Plan and the censuses of 1970, 1976 and 1980.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of San Rafael
does hereby gratefully acknowledge and thank John Dorich for the 22
years of professional service and contribution to planning the City.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Councfil 'congratulates John upon the occasion
of his retirement and extends to him best regards for a fulfilling
future.
