CITY OF SAN RAFAEL
PRESENTS THIS
RESOUNION OF APPRECIATION
TO
TERRA LINDA HIGH SCHOOL
BOYS VARSITY BASKETBALL TEAM
WHEREAS, the Terra Linda Hiqh School boys varsity basket-
ball team, the Trojans, has had an outstanding 1987-88 season,
with an overall record of 24 wins and only 10 losses; and
WHEREAS, the fourteen member team, Coach Lance Phillips and
Assistant Coach Steve Kostecki have displayed skill, determina-
tion, and dedication; and
WHEREAS, their teamwork and sense of wholesome competition
enabled them to become the North Coast Section Champions, Division
IV, Boys; and
WHEREAS, they then went on to become the Northern
California Champions, Division IV, Boys; and
WHEREAS, they represented Northern California in the state
Championships; and
WHEREAS, through their integrity, sportsmanship and wil-
lingness to put forth their best effort, they have brouqht high
honor to Terra Linda High School, their communitv and their City;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the
City of San Rafael, on behalf of all its citizens, hereby commends
and expresses its appreciation to the Trojans for their spirit and
accomplishments in this year. Congratulations to the Northern
California Champions!
