RESOLUTION OF 11PPRECIRTION

PEACOCK GAP GARDEN CLUB
WHEREAS, the National Arbor Day Foundation has
designated the City of San Rafael as a Tree City USA; and
WHEREAS, the City of San Rafael takes great
pride in its urban reforestation program; and
WHEREAS, the Peacock Gap Garden Club is also
dedicated to preserving and improving the quality of life in
the City of San Rafael; and
WHEREAS, on March 7, 1988, members of the Peacock
Gap Garden Club showed their commitment to the City of San Rafael
by engaging in an Arbor Day tree planting project on the campus
of San Rafael High School on the occasion of the school's
centennial ceremony.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED that the
City Council of the City of San Rafael, hereby expresses its
sincere appreciation to the Peacock Gap Garden Club for its
continuing efforts in endeavoring to make the quality of life
better for the citizens of San Rafael.
