RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SAN RAFAEL REJECTING BIDS FOR PROJECT
ENTITLED "RENOVATION AND ADDITION TO SAN
RAFAEL FIRE STATION NO. 6"
WHEREAS, the San Rafael City Council has previously
authorized City Staff to solicit bids for the renovation and addition
to Fire Station No. 6; and
WHEREAS, plans and specifications were prepared and bids
solicited for said work; and
opened; and
WHEREAS, on June 2, 1987, bids were received and publicly
WHEREAS, the low bid was far in excess of available
budgeted project funds; and
WHEREAS, said budget deficit is of a magnitude so as to
render the project unfeasible at this time.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of San Rafael that all those bids received on June 2, 1987 for the
renovation and addition to Fire Station No. 6 are hereby rejected.
I, JEANNE M. LEONCINI, Clerk of the City of San Rafael,
hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly
introduced and adopted at a regular meeting of the Council of said City
on Monday, the 6th day of July, 1987, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: COUNCILMEMBERS: Breiner, Frugoli, Nave, Willms & Mayor Mulryan
