WHEREAS, the City of Sar_ Rafael sponsors the Sara.
Rafael Goldenaires 02-ganization, an -d;
WHEREAS, the Golden.aires each year nominate a candidate
for outstanding Senior Citizen of Marin, and;
WHEREAS, John Hof friar :las so nominated this year and
duly awarded the honer of the 1987 Outstanding Senior Citizen of
Marin, and;
WHEREAS, John Hoffman's outstanding achievements include
serving on the Goldenaire's Executive Board for ten years, many
of those years as vice-president, and;
WHEREAS, John Hoffman brings to San Rafael a broad
knowledge and experience of senior programs and services from his
involvement in many county -tide organizations, and;
WHEREAS, John Hoffman is truly tireless in his constant
efforts to improve the operations of the Goldenaires so that the
organization provides a maximum program of activities and services
to its rt -,embers and the cormunity at large,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the San Rafael City
Council does hereby congratulate a -,.--id express their appreciation
for Mr. John Hoffman's dedication and contribution to the San
Rafael community.
