A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SAN RAFAEL AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF AN
ATHLETIC FIELD CONDITIONER AND THE
REJECTION OF ALL BIDS AND REBIDDING OF
ONE RIDING TURF MOWER AND
ONE TRAILER FOR RIDING TURF MOWER
WHEREAS, the San Rafael City Council authorized
replacement of new and used equipment; and
WHEREAS, specifications were drawn and bids
solicited for new vehicles; and
WHEREAS, public bids have been received by the General
Services Department staff.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the San Rafael
City Council that the following action be taken:
Purchase the following award of bid:
One athletic field conditioner with rake and finish
grader for the amount of $7,271.60 from West Star
Distributing Co., Inc. of Hayward, California, low
bidder that meets specifications.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council hereby
rejects all bids for one riding turf mower with trailer and
authorizes the Purchasing Assistant to proceed to rebid for one
riding turf mower and one trailer for use with riding turf mower
as separate items.

hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and
regularly introduced and adopted at a Regular meeting of the
City Council of the City of San Rafael on Monday , the
