RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL
APPROPRIATING $19,000 FROM THE DAVIDSON BEQUEST FOR
THE LIBRARY BOOK BUDGET, FISCAL YEAR 1987-88
WHEREAS, the Davidson Bequest was a gift to the San
Rafael Public Library by the late Evans Davidson in memory
of his sister Della Davidson; and
WHEREAS, since receipt of the Bequest in 1982, a
portion of the accrued interest on the Bequest has been used
to supplement the Library's book budget; and
WHEREAS, staff recommends appropriating $19,000 of
interest on the 3equest to supplement the Library's book
budget for fiscal year 1987-88.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED the City Council of the
City of San Rafael hereby appropriates $19,000 of interest
on the Davidson Bequest to supplement the Library's book
budget for fiscal year 1987-88.
I, JEANNE M. LEONCINI, City Clerk of the City of San
Rafael hereby certify that the forgoing resolution was duly
and regularly introduced and adopted at a Regular
meeting of the City Council of said City held on Mondav
the 3rd day of August 1987 by the following
vote, to wit:
