RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SAN RAFAEL REJECTING BIDS FOR PROJECT
ENTITLED "335 FORBES AVENUE DRAINAGE AND
FOUNDATION IMPROVEMENTS"
WHEREAS, the San Rafael City Council has previously
authorized City Staff to solicit bids for 335 Forbes Avenue
Drainage and Foundation Improvements; and
WHEREAS, plans and specifications were prepared and
bids solicited for said work; and
WHEREAS, on August 11, 1987, bids were received and
publicly opened; and
WHEREAS, the low bid was far in excess of available
budgeted project funds; and
WHEREAS, said budget deficit is of a magnitude so as
to render the project unfeasible at this time.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of San Rafael that all those bids received on August 11,
1987 for the 335 Forbes Avenue Drainage and Foundation Improve-
ments are hereby rejected.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT Staff is directed to re -
advertise said Project and modify said Scope of Project to reflect
available funding.
I, JEANNE M. LEONCINI, Clerk of the City of San Rafael,
hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly
introduced and adopted at a regular meeting of the Council of said
City on Monday, the 17th day of August, 1987, by the following vote,
to wit:

NOES: COUNCILMEMBERS: None
