A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SAN RAFAEL AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF ONE RIDING
TURF MOWER AND ONE TRAILER FOR RIDING TURF MOWER
UTILIZING VEHICLE REPLACEMENT FUNDS
WHEREAS, the San Rafael City Council authorized replace-
ment of one riding turf mower and trailer for same; and
WHEREAS, specifications were drawn and bids solicited for
new vehicles; and
WHEREAS, public bids have been received by the General
Services Department staff.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the San Rafael City
Council that the following action be taken:
Purchase the following award of bid:
One John Deere Riding Turf Mower Model No. F935 with 72" mowing deck
for the amount of $9,036.50 from West Cal Tractor Co., Santa Rosa,
California, the low bidder that meets the specifications.
One Hustler Tilt Deck Trailer Model No. 923722 for the amount of
$2,326.70 from Western Lawn & Equipment Company of Burlingame,
California, the low bidder that meets the specifications.
I, JEANNE M. LEONCINI, Clerk of the City of San Rafael,
hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly
introduced and adopted at a regular meeting of the Council of said
City the 8th day of September , 1987, by the following
vote, to wit:
AYES: COUNCILMEMBERS: Breiner, Frugoli, Nave, Willms & Mayor Mulryan
NOES: COUNCILMEMBERS: None
