RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SAN RAFAEL REJECTING BIDS FOR PURCHASE
OF STACKING CHAIRS AND TABLES FOR THE
RECREATION DEPARTMENT
WHEREAS, the San Rafael City Council has previously
authorized Citv Staff to solicit bids for the purchase of stacking
chairs and tables for the Recreation Department; and
WHEREAS, specifications were prepared and bids
solicited for said purchase; and
WHEREAS, on August 23, 1987, bids were received and
publicly opened; and
WHEREAS,the low bid was far in excess of available
budgeted funds; and
WHEREAS, said budget deficit is of a magnitude so as
to render this purchase unfeasible at this time.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of San Rafael that all those bids received on August 23, 1987
for the purchase of stacking chairs and tables for the Recreation
Department are hereby rejected.
I, JEANNE M. LEONCINI, Clerk of the City of San Rafael,
hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly
introduced and adopted at a regular meeting of the Council of said City
on Monday, the 21st day of September, 1987.
