RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL
ACCEPTING $8,000 CALIFORNIA ARTS COUNCIL GRANT
WHEREAS, Falkirk Cultural Center provides the citizens of
San Rafael a rich and varied program of cultural activities; and
WHEREAS, The California Arts Council has awarded Falkirk
Cultural Center an $8,000 grant under its Artistic and
Administrative Development program, for expanded programming and
community outreach for Falkirk Cultural Center; and
WHEREAS, The Cultural Affairs Commission and staff recommend
that the City Council accept this grant award from the California
Arts Council.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED the City Council of the City
of San Rafael hereby accepts the $8,000 California Arts Council
grant, and designates the Director of Cultural Affairs the
Authorizing Official, the individual delegated authority to enter
into contracts and accept this grant for the City of San Rafael.
I, JEANNE M. LEONCINI, City Clerk of the City of San Rafael
hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and
regularly introduced and adopted at a Rpqij]ar meeting of the
City Council of said City held on Monday the
Fifth day of October , 1987, by the following vote to
wit:
