RESOLUTION ACCEPTING GRANTS OF EASEMENT
FOR ACCESS TO OPEN SPACE PARCELS -
OAKWOOD SUBDIVISION UNIT NO. 3
WHEREAS, public interest, convenience and welfare require
that the easements hereinafter mentioned be accepted and used for the
benefit of the public of the City of San Rafael, California;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of San Rafael, California, that these certain grants of
easement for access to open space parcels within Oakwood Subdivision
Unit No. 3, executed by Loren W. Riddle, Donald R. Ham and Sharon Ham
to the City of San Rafael, be and the same are hereby accepted and the
Clerk of said City is hereby directed to cause said conveyancesto be
duly recorded in the office of the County Recorder of the County of
Marin, State of California, forthwith upon the adoption of this
resolution.
I, JEANNE M. LEONCINI, Clerk of the City of San Rafael,
California, hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and
regularly introduced and adopted at a regular meeting of the Council
of said City held on the 19th day of October 1987, by the following
vote, to wit:

DESCRIPTION
All that certain real property situate in the City of San Rafael, County of
Marin, State of California, described as follows:
A NON-EXCLUSIVE EASEMENT for access purposes over the following described
parcels of land:
PARCEL ONE -A:
THAT PORTION of a 40 foot road known as "Clorinda Avenue Extension", the
center line of which is described as follows:
BEGINNING at a point on the center line of said 40 foot road at the Northeasterly termination
of the course and distance set forth as "North 72'44' East 16.10 feet" in Parcel One of the
deed from Western Title Guaranty Company, Marin County Division, a corporation, formerly Marin
County Abstract and Title Company, a corporation to Paul J. Felton, recorded October 19, 1971
in Book 2511 of Official Records, at Page 666 and re-recorded November 4, 1971 in Book 2516 of
Official Records, at Page 265, Marin County Records; running thence along said center line Soul
17'16' East 132.51 feet, South 13 14' West 121.33 feet South 30023' East 197.60 feet, South 53'
15' East 269.76 feet; South 15040' East 94.50 feet South 53'01' East 69.83 feet, South 77000'
East 62.0 feet; thence on a curve to the riaht whose radius is 90 feet, a distance of 73.17
:eet; South 30'25' East 70.89 feet, thence on a curve to the left whose radius is 125 feet, a
distance of 46.14 feet;'South 51'34' East 53.52 feet, thence on a curve to the left whose
radius is 135 feet a distance of 98.92 feet thence'North 85027' East 55..97 feet, thence on
a curve to the right whose radius is 50 feet, a distance of 78.54 feet South 3°13' East 11.18
feet and thence on a curve to the left whose radius is 90 feet a distance of 46.42 feet to the
point of termination of said line.

THAT PORTICN of a 40 foot road known as "Clorinda Avenue Extension" which lies 40 feet Norther:
and Northeasterly of the following described line:
BEGIMrNG at the point of termination referred to in Parcel One -A above; thence South 59'07'
West 20 feet to the Southerly line of said 40 foot road and the TRUE POINT OF BEGINN1% of the
line to be described herein; thence Easterly along said Southerly line of said 40 foot road on
a curve to the left, with a radius of 110 feet, a distance of 42.94 feet; thence South 53015'
East 25.70 feet; thence on a curve to the right with a radius of 105 feet for a distance of
19.91 feet; thence South 42'.23' East 51.43 feet; thence on a curve to the left with a radius
of 80 feet for a distance of 103.18 feet; thence North 63'43' East 11.03 feet; thence on a
curve to the right with a radius of 70 feet for a distance of 90.65 feet; thence South 42'05'
East 40.51 feet; thence on a curve to the left with a radius of 90 feet, for a distance of
12.85 feet to the Northerly line of the tract conveyed by De Martini to Sbarboro, dated
January 17, 1941 and recorded in Book 403 of Official Records, at Page 200, Marin County
records; thence along said'Northerly line of said deed, North 73046130" East 25 feet, more
or less, to the Southerly line of Makin Grade.
PARCEL TWO:
BEGINNING at a point on the Northerly line of that certain tract conveyed by James
De Martini to Alfred E. Sbarboro, et ux, by deed dated January 17, 1941 and recorded
in Volume 408 of Official Records, at Page 200, Marin County Records, distant along
said line North 73'46 1/2' East 176.98 feet from the Westerly conrer of said tract;
running thence from said point of beginning on a curve to the left form a tangent
bearing South 50'16' East with a radius of 90 feet, for a distance of 77.86 feet;
thence North 80'10' East 38.08 feet; thence on a curve to the right with a radius
of 80 feet for a distance of 52.90 feet; thence South 61'57' East 12.51 feet, more
or ess to the Southerly line of Makin Grade, thence North 34'49' East 25.0 feet to
the center line of Makin Grade, thence along said center line North 57'11' West 34.24
feet; thence North 81034' West 76.7 feet, to the most Northerly corner of said parcel
so conveyed to Sbarboro as above mentioned; thence along the Northerly line of said
parcel, South 73'46'30" West 85.05 feet to the point of beginning.
EXCEPTING FROM the above, those portions thereof lying outside c° the
boundaries of the parcels of land conveyed to Loren W. Riddle, by Deed
recorded April 9, 1987 as Recorder's Serial No. 87-23307 and to Donald R. Ham
and wife, by Deed recorded October 15, 1986 as Recorder's Serial No.
86-57627, Marin County Records.
