A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SAN RAFAEL AUTHORIZING SUBMISSION OF A GRANT
APPLICATION FOR CAREER CRIMINAL APPREHENSION
PROGRAM (C -CAP)
PHASE III
WHEREAS, the City of San Rafael desires to undertake a
certain project designated San Rafael Career Criminal Apprehension
Program to be funded, in part, from funds made available through
Chapter 477, 1985 Statutes, Career Criminal Apprehension Program as
amended, and administered by the Office of Criminal Justice Planning
(hereafter referred to as OCJP).
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor of the City
of San Rafael is authorized on its behalf to submit the attached
application for grant funds for law enforcement purposes to OCJP and
is authorized to execute on behalf of the City of San Rafael the
attached Grant Award for law enforcement purposes including any
extensions or amendments thereof.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the applicant agrees to
provide all matching funds required for said project (including any
extensions or amendments therefor), and that cash will be
appropriated as required thereby.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that grant funds received hereunder
shall not be used to supplant expenditures controlled by this body.

hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly
introduced and adopted at a regular meeting of the Council of said
