RICHARD NAVE
WHEREAS, Richard Nave was elected to the San Rafael City Council
in 1983; and
WHEREAS, during his term in office, Rich was an effective
representative of the entire community and particularly
the business community; and
WHEREAS, Rich is appreciated for his devotion to the community,
his openness on issues and his ever present sense of
humor; and
WHEREAS, Rich devoted numerous hours representing the City on
the Technical Advisory Committee for the General Plan,
the NWPRR Task Force, the City/School Liaison Committee
and as an alternate to the 101 Corridor Task Force;
and
WHEREAS, Rich was elected by his peers as Vice -Chairman of the
San Rafael Redevelopment Agency and effectively chaired
the meeting of October 19, 1987, and served on several
Agency subcommittees such as the Lindaro (PG&E) site
project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council expresses
its sincere appreciation to Rich Nave for his dedicated
service to the community, and wishes him well and
encourages his continued involvement in our community
affairs.
