A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SAN RAFAEL COMMITTING TO FUND THE CITY OF SAN
RAFAEL'S SHARE OF THE MARIN COUNTY TRANSPORTATION
EXPENDITURE PLAN COMMITTEE BUDGET
WHEREAS, the Marin County Mayors and Councilmembers
requested the Board of Supervisors establish a Transportation
Expenditure Plan Committee to develop a transportation plan and
assess support for a transportation sales tax; and
WHEREAS, the Marin County Board of Supervisors established
a Transportation Expenditure Plan Committee including
representatives from the County, Cities and Towns, transit and
community interest groups; and
WHEREAS, the Committee has developed the attached budget
and requested that the County, Cities and Towns, and Golden Gate
Bridge, Highway and Transportation District fund the budget per the
attached schedule.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City of San Rafael
commits to fund its share of the budget as shown on the attached
contribution list and will reserve funds for future billings as
individual tasks proceed.
I, JEANNE M. LEONCINI, Clerk of the City of San Rafael,
hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly
introduced and adopted at a regular meeting of the Council of said
City on the 7th day of December , 1987, by the following vote, to
wit:
