A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE EXTENSION
OF CONSULTANT AGREEMENT
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL RESOLVES as follows:
The CITY MANAGER and CITY CLERK are authorized to accept,
on behalf of the City of San Rafael, the attached proposal
from JHK AND ASSOCIATES in an amount not to exceed $3,000.
I, JEANNE M. LEONCINI, Clerk of the City of San Rafael,
hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly
introduced and adopted at a regular meeting of the Council
of said City on Monday , the 21st day of nPr-P,,,hAr ,

JHK & Associates is pleased to submit this proposal for providing a copy of the
San Rafael CATNAP Model, the appropriate data disks, the CATNAP User's Manual,
and user instructions. This letter is written in response to your verbal request of
November 24, 1987.
SCOPE OF WORK
JHK & Associates will provide a copy of the 1987 Version of the CATNAP
Transportation Planning Package. The model will be installed on the City of San
Rafael's personal computer. The computer model will include the trip volume,
transportation network, and travel route data files for the East San Rafael Planning
Area. JHK will also provide up to forty (40) hours of on-site instruction and
training. JHK staff members will also be available for additional assistance over
the telephone. A copy of the CATNAP User's Manual will also be provided.
STAFFING
Mr. Eric Tweit, Transportation Engineer, will be responsible for the
installation and training in the use of the CATNAP Model.
COST ESTIMATE
JHK & Associates will complete the above tasks on a time and materials basis
at the rates listed in Attachment A. The total cost of the project is expected to be
approximately $2500 to $3000.
