A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SAN RAFAEL AUTHORIZING THE USE OF CREDIT CARDS
BY MANAGEMENT PERSONNEL
WHEREAS, the City of San Rafael intends to authorize its
officers and agents to use Credit Cards for and in connection with
City business; and
WHEREAS, this City desires that such Credit Cards be
issued in the name(s) of officers and agents to be designated to
Security Pacific Bank by this City and that all indebtedness
incurred through the use of such Credit Cards be charged directly to
this City;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City of San Rafael
apply to Security Pacific Bank for the issuance of Credit Cards in
the name(s) of officers and agents of this City.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this City agrees to assume
sole responsibility for the use of such Credit Cards, and to pay
Security Pacific Bank for all indebtedness incurred by use of such
Credit Cards, whether such use or indebtedness was authorized or
unauthorized by this City.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Manager is authorized
to designate which officers and agents of this City may initially be
issued Credit Cards and to make additions to, or deletions from such
list of officers and agents authorized to use such Credit Cards and
to so notify Security Pacific Bank in writing. In the case of
additions, such notice to Security Pacific Bank shall authorize
Security Pacific Bank to issue such Credit Cards in the names of
said additional officers and agents. In the case of deletions, this
City shall be liable for the use of such Credit Cards until said
Credit Cards are returned to the Bank or the Bank is notified of the
loss or theft of said Credit Cards.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that Security Pacific Bank is
authorized to act upon this resolution until written notice of its
revocation is delivered to Security Pacific Bank, and that the
authority hereby granted shall apply with equal force and effect to
the successors in office of the officers herein named.

hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly
introduced and adopted at a regular meeting of the Council of said
City on Mondav , the 19th day of January ,
1987, by the following vote, to wit:
