RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL
AUTHORIZING STAFF TO APPLY TO THE CALIFORNIA ARTS COUNCIL FOR A
$20,000 GRANT TO SUPPORT FALKIRK OPERATIONS AND PROGRAMS
WHEREAS, Falkirk Cultural Center provides the citizens of
San Rafael a rich and varied program of cultural activities; and
WHEREAS, The California Arts Council makes grants to arts
organizations throughout California to support artistic and
administrative development of those organizations; and
WHEREAS, The Cultural Affairs Commission and staff recommend
that the City Council authorize staff to apply to the California
Arts Council for grant funds to improve and enhance Falkirk's
cultural programs and outreach efforts.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED the City Council of the City
of San Rafael hereby authorizes Falkirk staff to apply to the
California Arts Council for funds to improve and enhance
Falkirk's cultural programs and outreach efforts.
I, JEANNE M. LEONCINI, City Clerk of the City of San Rafael
hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and
regularly introduced and adopted at a regular meeting of the
City Council of said City held on Tuesdav the
17th day of February , 1987, by the following vote to
wit:
