HomeMy WebLinkAboutCC Resolution 7497 (Bail Schedules)RESOLUTION NO. 7497 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL ESTABLISHING A BAIL SCHEDULE FOR VIOLATIONS TO TITLE 2; CHAPTER 2.16, SECTION 2.16.028 REGULATION OF USE OF PARK AND/OR RECREATION FACILITIES WHEREAS, the City Council has adopted regulations for use of the City Parks, San Rafael Municipal Code Section 2.16.028; and WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 1535 introduced on February 17, 1987 establishes the authority to enact a Bail Schedule; and WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 2.16.028 Subsection (27), the City Council of the City of San Rafael is required to adopt a resolution establishing a Bail Schedule for said section and is required to forward that schedule to the Judges of the Municipal Court of the Central Judicial District of the County of Marin for approval; and WHEREAS, the Park and Recreation Commission recommends that the Bail Schedule articulated below be adopted by the City Council. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council that the Bail Schedule for violations of Title 2, Chapter 2.16, Section 2.16.028 of the San Rafael Municipal Code shall be adopted as provided in Exhibit A. This bail schedule shall become effective 60 days from the date of its adoption. I, JEANNE M.
