A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SAN RAFAEL GRANTING THE CITY MANAGER AUTHORITY
TO SETTLE SEWER LIABILITY CLAIMS UP TO $5,000.00
WHEREAS, Insurance Consulting Associates, Inc., Liability
Claims Administrator for the City of San Rafael,was granted
authority to settle claims up to $1,000.00, pursuant to an Agreement
between the City of San Rafael and Insurance Consulting Associates,
Inc., dated August 4, 1984; and
WHEREAS, in order to speed up the handling of sewer
claims, it is recommended that the City Manager be granted authority
to settle sewer liability claims up to $5,000.00.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of
the City of San Rafael hereby grants authority to the City Manager
to settle sewer liability claims up to $5,000.00 in order to speed
up the handling of these claims.
I, JEANNE M. LEONCINI, Clerk of the City of San Rafael,
hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly
introduced and adopted at a regular meeting of the Council of said
City on Monday , the Sixteenth day of March ,
1987, by the following vote, to wit:
