RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SAN RAFAEL AUTHORIZING THE COLLECTION OF
TRANSPORTATION IMPROVEMENT FEES, PLEDGED BY
DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT, IN THE NORTHGATE
ACTIVITY CENTER
WHEREAS, San Rafael City Council Ordinance #1456 established a
Transportation Improvement Fee system for the Northgate Activity
Center; and
WHEREAS, Development Agreements have been accepted defer-
ring the payment of said Transportation Improvement fees until the
City of San Rafael determined the improvements were necessary; and
WHEREAS, the City of San Rafael has determined that the
collection of said fees is necessary to fund signalization of several
intersections and the construction of the Merrydale Overcrossing.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of San Rafael that the Department of Public Works is hereby
authorized to commence with the collection of Transportation
Improvement fees, pledged by Development Agreement, in the Northgate
Activity Center.
I, JEANNE M. LEONCINI, Clerk of the City of San Rafael,
hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly
introduced and adopted at a regular meeting of the Council of said City
on Monday, the 6th day of April, 1987, by the following vote, to wit:
