WHEREAS, Suzanna Pollack has served as a Cultural Affairs
Commissioner since November 3, 1980; and
WHEREAS, In her capacity as a Commissioner, Suzi has contribute)
uncounted hours of time and effort to improving the cultural
life of the community, and to preserving and restoring
Falkirk Cultural Center; and
WHEREAS, In her tenure on the Cultural Affairs Commis,_sion,
restoration of the Falkirk Kitchen, Reading Room, and
Greenhouse has been completed, as well as the addition of a
handicapped ramp; and
WHEREAS, During her tenure on the Cultural Affairs Commission,
cultural programming for the community has expanded through
City support as well as grants from the San Francisco
Foundation, the California Arts Council, Inter -arts of
Marin, and other public and private agencies; and
WHEREAS, Suzi's hard work, good humor, and professional attitude will
be missed by all who worked with her.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of..
San Rafael, in grateful acknowledgement of Suzanna Pollack's
outstanding record of service to the City of San Rafael and
its residents, expresses its sincere appreciation. for a job
well done.
