RESOLUTION NO. 7536
CITY OF SAN RAFAEL
PRESENTS THIS
RESOUITION OF ftPPREEIRTION
TO
JOANNE COTTLE
WHEREAS, Joanne Cottle has served as President of the Friends of the
San Rafael Public Library for the last four years; and
WHEREAS, In her tenure as President of the Friends of the Library,
the Friends have raised and contributed approximately
$30,000 to the San Rafael Public Library; and
WHEREAS, Joanne has also contributed uncounted hours to the Library
as a volunteer book mender; and
WHEREAS, Joanne was instrumental in initiating a volunteer adult
literacy tutor program in San Rafael and Marin County; and
WHEREAS, Joanne's hard work, good humor, and dedication will be
missed by all who worked with her.
NOW, THERFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of
San Rafael, expresses its sincere appreciation to Joanne
Cottle for her outstanding record of volunteer service to
the community.
